TOOL AIR FITTING 

 

This tool uses a 1/4-18 N.P.T or 1/4-19 P.T. male plug.  The inside diameter should be .200” (5 mm) or larger.  The 
fitting must be capable of discharging tool air pressure when disconnected from the air supply. 

 

OPERATING PRESSURE 

 

70 to 120 PSI (5 to 8 kg/cm

2

). Select the operating pressure within this range for best fastener performance.

AIR CONSUMPTION 

 

Tool air consumption: 

SN50-1.9 cfm (0.9 liter/sec), SN40-1.7 cfm (0.8 liter/sec)

 of free air to operate at the rate 

of 100 nails per minute, at 90 PSI (6.0 kg/cm2). Take the actual rate at which the tool will be run to determine the 
amount of air required. For instance, if your fastener usage averages 50 nails per minute, you need 50% of the 
tool air consumption in running at 100 nails per minute.
