User & Programming Manual

DX2000 XL – Hotel Version

65

SPK Key

This key is used to activate the speakerphone. In order to activate the speakerphone, press
the SPK key and start dialing out or speaking if a call has landed on the key telephone.
Pressing the `SPK’ key is like activating the cradle.

Room-Shift (TRSF) Key

This key is used in Hotel Version to shift a room to the another room.

RLS Key

This key is used to disconnect a call after the conversation is over. Alternatively, on
completion of programming, press the RLS key to come back to stand by mode.

HOLD Key

This key is used to put the call on hold for transferring a trunk call, alternatively, in the
programming mode, the HOLD key is used to go to the next mode in programming.

This key is used for knowing the room status also.

MSG Key

This key is used to view the left message for the operator or another extensions. This key is
also used to leave an internal message to a busy extension. The MSG key is also used to
view the auto redial numbers.

Temp Chk-Out / P-Hold key

This key is used for T-Check-Out. This key is used to put a call on hold also. A call in
conversation by the key telephone user can be kept on personal hold by pressing the P-
HOLD key. This will ensure that these calls are not picked up by other key telephone users.
In order to retrieve the call , press the P-HOLD key again.
