Cancellation of Guest Msg.
When the guest calls the reception for collecting his message, operator has to press `MSG'
key while conversing with the guest. This will cancel the message reminder for his room.
Private Line
A trunk line can be defined as the dedicated trunk for a guest. This dedicated trunk line will
be known as the private line to a room. The private line can be set by the operator if & only if
the room is already checked-in. On setting a private line for a room, if the telephone in the
room is lifted, there will be internal system dial tone of the PBX for 3 seconds duration
(during which any of the internal numbers can be dialed) and if no number is dialed then its
private trunk line will automatically get connected to the room extension & the external
number on the PSTN network can be dialed. Also incoming calls on this trunk line will land
directly at that room .
To set a private line
Step Action You get
1.
Keep the receiver off hook and press the TCHK-
IN / FLASH key. The display will show
“PRIVATE”.
2.
Now enter the room number, for which the private
line has to be set. The display will show an
arrow.
3. Press the required trunk line except the 1st trunk. `PASS‘ will be displayed.
4. Press the RLS key.
The private line will get automatically removed when the Check out command is given for
that room. The private line can also be removed without checking-out that room.
To cancel the private line
Step Action You get
1.
Keep the receiver off hook and press the
TCHK-IN / FLASH key, followed by the
room number. The display will show an arrow
followed with the trunk number
that was set as private line.
2. Press displayed trunk number to remove it.
