Small to mid-size businesses can utilize the
Document Box function when workgroups require
immediate access to information from a centralized
manage point. With the standard 80GB HDD
workgroups can store jobs temporarily for up to
seven days using one of the Document Box
functions. The retention time can be set to fit the
requirements of the workgroup as needed.
Although documents may remain in the MFP’s
HDD indefinitely, data can be lost if an issue arises,
so workgroups should only use the Document Box
as a temporary storage device.
One of the strong product features of the
Document Box is the various functions built within
the system. Document Box includes four distinct
types of boxes, each with a different purpose and
potential use.
The four types of boxes within Document Box
includes:
• CUSTOM BOX
• JOB BOX
• REMOVABLE MEMORY BOX
• FAX BOX
CUSTOM BOX
With the CUSTOM BOX feature, workgroups can
register users and the user can temporarily store
documents in the CS-3060 or CS-2560 80GB
HDD. This is very useful when a document
containing a large number of pages needs to be
repeatedly printed. Users can store this document
in their assigned CUSTOM BOX and print the
document as my times as needed and select the
number of copies they require. Users who are
register individually can use the User Box for
secure printing and can save images that they
have scanned as well
JOB BOX
When a particular application such as Repeat
Copy or Private Print is selected, Job Box is used
to store and output that specific job. Job Box also
supports Job retention mode, which is HP
compatible.
REMOVABLE MEMORY BOX
The Removable Memory Box feature, allow
users to print PDF documents directly from a
USB flash drive to the CS-3060 or the CS-2560,
providing companies with the portability and
security for the confidential documents they wish
to print.
FAX BOX
The Fax Box can save fax documents, which are
received by facsimile communication. The Fax
Box can also be used for F-code Subaddress
confidential reception. (Fax option required).
