typically be text-intensive, rather than graphics-
intensive. Because this is the case, the
appearance of the text, or fonts, is imperative for
any output device. The new CS-3060 and
CS-2560 Workgroup MFPs will provide
companies with the following:
• 80 Outlines for PCL XL/5e
• 80 Outlines for KPDL3
• 1 Bitmap Font Outline
Font Support
for popular TrueType Outlines will
guarantee that documents look exactly how the
person printing has intended. The KX Driver will
allow users to select a variety of choices.

• PPDs for Mac
• PPDs for Linux/UNIX
Copystar’s KX Driver common user interface,
which is shared across all Copystar’s
multifunctional devices, will simplify both setup
and use and will allow user to take full advantage
of the CS-3060 or the CS-2560 features and
options.
With the KX Driver, users in small to mid-size
business workgroups will be able to specify paper
handling as well as duplex and stapling and have
these print jobs delivered to the Document Box for
secure output. Administrators will also appreciate
the benefits of the KX Driver single user interface.
Administrators will be able to install the KX Driver
for the CS-3060 or the CS-2560 across multiple
operating platforms, regardless of which
Windows® operating system is being used or
which page description language is required.
The
KX Driver for Windows®
is unique in the
industry, providing a strong competitive

KX Driver has the same look and feel for all
PC users, no matter what version of
Windows® is installed, what Copystar device
is used, or what PDL (PCL or KPDL) is

IT. For the people actually printing in an every
day situation, using the KX Driver will be a
benefit because it is easily navigated and

upgrade the OS on their PC, they have
already mastered the driver, so human error
