Multi Send Function
The ability to send a document to multiple
locations simultaneously from a single device is
one of the key features of the CS-3060 and the
CS-2560. The ability to send a document to
multiple locations from a single scan will
increase the productivity of any small to mid-size
business and will also reduce the amount of
propriety equipment that the workgroup maybe
utilizing for these individual tasks such as flatbed
scanners and/or Fax devices.
With the Multi Send Feature, users can select
multiple locations from the Consolidated
Address Book or add them on an ad-hoc basis
with the QWERTY-style keyboard from the Color
Wide Touch
Screen. Once the appropriate
destinations have been selected, the document
can be scanned and sent in the most efficient
manner. Up to 500 destinations can be set in
Multi Send mode.
Scan to e-Mail
User can scan documents to any e-Mail address
from the Consolidated Address Book, using the
built-in LDAP feature or ad-hoc by typing in the
e-Mail address using the QWERTY keyboard on
the Color TSI.
Scan to Folder
With SMB (Server Message Block), user can
scan documents to any shared folder on their
network, which can then be shared or viewed
by multiple users simultaneously.
With the ability to Scan to Folder via SMB, the
CS-3060 and the CS-2560 are no longer
confined to a Windows® or Mac environment.
SMB can be translated into Linux architecture
with Samba allowing users to send
documents to computer that are using Linux
Operating Systems.
Scan to FTP
For companies who have a FTP (file transfer
protocol) server in place for sharing and
downloading files, user can scan large files or
color images directly from the CS-3060 or the
CS-2560 to the FTP server
File Transfer Protocol, or FTP, is an efficient
and effective way to share large files, without
file size restrictions.and is designed to
transfer files at a high-rate of speed.
TWAIN
Workgroup user can also scan to TWAIN
compliant applications. With the CS-3060 and
the CS-2560, users can scan directly to these
applications in black and white as TIFF or
PDF and in color as JPEG, TIFF and PDF.
