The DDNS function is used when the ADSL connection is not a static IP type, this is known
as dynamic IP.
In this case you will need to set up DDNS so that you can always connect to the DVR
from a remote location.
The DVR comes with some default settings but you will have to create an account with
one of the DDNS services before you can use the DDNS function.
For more details and help setting up DDNS consult the network administrator
