The filter system consists of a flat mesh filter and a cylindrical
filter in two parts, coarse and fine.
1. Flat mesh filter: Food particles will be initially washed onto the
steel mesh filter before entering the plastic cylindrical filter.
2. Coarse cylindrical filter: Larger items like bone fragments will
be captured in the coarse filter before they reach the pump.
3. Micro cylindrical filter: This filter holds the smaller food
particles in the sump during the wash cycle.
4. Lugs.

Cleaning The Filters
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended that the filters are cleaned weekly to ensure correct
operation of the appliance.
To remove the filters for cleaning, first remove the bottom basket and turn the lower spray arm so that is parallel with the front of the
appliance. Then twist the top of the cylindrical filter 3 anti-clockwise 45° and lift the whole assembly out.

Squeeze the two lugs (4) on the top of the coarse filter (2) and lift it out of the micro filter (3). The flat mesh filter can now be
removed by sliding it forward underneath the spray arm.
Remove any large food debris from the filters and wash carefully with a brush in warm soapy water. Be careful not to damage the
micro filter.
To reassemble the filters, repeat the above steps in reverse order ensuring that the two lugs of the coarse filter are correctly seated
inside the micro filter. Finally, rotate the filter assembly inside the sump housing until you can feel it drop slightly and then turn it
through 45° clockwise to lock it into place.
WARNING:
Never use the appliance without the filters in place. Ensure that the flat and
cylindrical filters are correctly locked in place before using the appliance!
