*The interface connection is functionless in this version of the camera.
5. Installation and Connection
Find a suitable place for mounting from which the area to be monitored can be
observed.
A suitable place for installation of this camera has the following features:
• as dust free as possible
• Vibration free
• Good ventilation
• There is a mains socket close by.

Select a place for mounting which is not shielded by, for example,
reinforced concrete walls, steamed up mirrors or metal shelves.
There should be no devices with strong electrical fields, such as
mobile telephones, radios or electrical motors, close to the device.
The above-mentioned occurrences can disturb the radio transmission appreciably
or limit its range.

• The network adapter conforms to protection class II. It may only be attached to a
standard household 230V~/50Hz mains supply socket.
• Please contact a qualified person if you are unsure about the safety and correct
use of the camera.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foil / bags etc can
become a dangerous toy for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
•
- the device shows visible signs of damage,
•
- the device no longer operates and
•
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
•
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• In commercial and industrial facilities the regulations for the prevention of acci-
dents as laid down by the professional trade association for electrical equipment
and devices must be observed.
• The components of this system must not become damp or wet.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.
