If a cartridge filter with pressure reducer has to be removed from the flange or un-
screwed, the following notes must absolutely be observed:
/
Protect the flange surfaces from damage! Damaged flange surfaces cannot close tight any longer. As a
result, escaping water can damage the building and installations.
/ Ensure that no dirt can get into the cartridge filter with pressure reducer! This dirt can get into contact
with and be discharged into the drinking water when the cartridge filter with pressure reducer is
switched back on. The health of persons who drink dirty water is at risk.
/ Store the cartridge filter with pressure reducer in frost-free conditions! Frost can cause any water
contained in the cartridge filter's voids to freeze and thus cause mechanical damage to the cartridge
filter with pressure reducer so that it leaks at operating pressure or can burst. Leaking water can cause
major damage to the building. In addition, persons near the cartridge filter with pressure reducer can
be injured by breaking off filter parts.
/ When restarting the cartridge filter with pressure reducer, follow the instructions for a new cartridge
filter with pressure reducer.
Only original spare parts are to be used!
Arbitrary modifications and changes are prohibited for safety reasons! They can
impair the function of the cartridge filter with pressure reducer, lead to leaks and
as an extreme incident they can lead to the bursting of the cartridge filter with
pressure reducer.
The imprinted test marks are only valid if original spare parts are used.
