Advanced Functions of Baking
The advanced functions extend the baking possibilities and thus provide a more comfortable use of the unit. Time
functions are set in the central part of the control panel.
When setting the function selector to „0“ position (off) during baking the preset time of baking or end of baking will
be reset.
a) Baking time setting
1. After switching the unit on (baking function selector is not in „0“ position), activate the baking time setting by pressing
. symbol will blink on the display.
2. Press the „-“ or „+“ symbol repeatedly to set the required baking time on the display (0:00 - 23:59).
3. After the set time elapses, the unit switches off and a short sound signal is heard. To switch off the sound signal, press
any symbol on the control panel.
4. Set the temperature controller and function selector to position „0“. Residual heat of the oven can be used for heating
or defrosting food.
Note:
For this function, the time of day must be set on the unit.
b) Setting baking end time
1. After switching the unit on (baking function selector is not in „0“ position), activate the baking end time setting by
pressing . symbol will blink on the display.
2. Press the “-” or “+” symbol repeatedly to set the required end of baking time on the display (0:00 - 23:59).
3. After the set time elapses, the unit switches off, and a sound signal is heard. To switch off the sound signal, press any
symbol on the control panel.
4. Set the temperature controller and function selector to position „0“. Residual heat of the oven can be used for heating
or defrosting food.
Note:
For this function, the time of day must be set on the unit.
c) Setting the delayed start and end of baking
Combining the above-described time functions, you can set the delayed start and end of baking.
Example: Let’s assume that you leave the apartment at 10 a.m. and upon your return at noon you want to have a roast
chicken ready. The recommended way of roasting a chicken is 70 minutes at 165°C, using the function of the circular
heater and fan, in the position height 2.
1. Put the pan with the food in the position height 2.
2. Set the required baking function and temperature 165°C.
3. To activate the baking time setting, press middle button . symbol will blink on the display.
4. Press the “-” or “+” symbol repeatedly to set the required baking time on the display 01:10.
5. To activate the end of baking time setting, press middle button again. symbol will blink on the display.
6. Press the “-” or “+” symbol repeatedly to set the required baking end time on the display 12:00.
7. After several seconds the settings are saved and the unit switches to the countdown mode.
8. At 10:50 a.m. the roasting will start; it will end at 12:00 and a sound signal will be heard. To switch off the sound signal,
press any symbol on the control panel.
Note:
For this function, the time of day must be set on the unit.
d) Countdown function
The countdown function works independently from the baking function, i.e. it is only for information. Baking continues
even after the countdown is switched off.
When the unit is off:
1. Set the countdown function after activating it by pressing the middle button . The symbol will blink on
the display. Press the „-“ or „+“ symbol repeatedly to set the required countdown time on the display.
