8.1 Changing
Password
You can amend your current administrative password through this web-
based interface, or proceed to our GSC2024WM Utility (Refer to Chapter
5).
8.1.1
Forgot your password?
If you forget your password, you can reset it back to its default
value by simply pressing the Reset button located at the back of
your Compex GSC2024WM.
Please bear in mind that, once this button is pressed, all your
current configuration, including the VLANs, IP address, Port
Trunking, Port Mirroring will be set back to factory default.
At this moment, remember that backing up your configuration
plays an important role. Kindly refer to the next section for details
on creating a backup of your settings and on restoring your
saved settings.
