4. Next, select the Port 1 as the source port whose activities you want
to monitor.
5. Click on the Apply button to update the changes.
To monitor more ports, repeat step 4 and click on the Apply button to
update the changes.
7.2 Trap Setting
Trap setting allows you to select the types of events of which you would
like to be alerted. When Compex GSC2024WM encounters the selected
events in the network, it will send the information to the Trap IP address
configured in the setting. The PC from which you will view the trapped
events must run the GSC2024WM Utility to be able to monitor and
capture any trapped information. For details on how to use the
GSC2024WM Utility, please refer to Section 4.1.
1. Enter the IP address of the PC from which you will view the trap
events in the Trap IP and select the types of events you wish to
monitor.
