MOTOR ANTI-OVERHEATING (OPTIONAL UPON REQUEST)
The function controls the surface temperature of the motor by means of a specially provided contact probe.
If the motor temperature exceeds the critical value during operation, the system stops the actuator and the position feedback is set to 0V. If there is a Wi-Fi communication module, the fault code “TEMP” appears.
With the serial RS485 - Modbus communication, the fault is reported at the specific address.
The actuator automatically resumes its normal operation when the temperature drops below the safety threshold.
The function works irrespective of the type of command selected.
The function is disabled if the Fail Safe module comes in.
MONITORING
Using the Wi-Fi interface or the Modbus serial protocol connection the actuator operating parameters can be monitored and any errors or failures can be detected.
REACHED POSITION - “Position %”
It gives an indication of the actual position reached by the actuator. The returned value is expressed as a % of the total stroke (90° or 180° according to the version).
If any angular positioning correction has been made, the displayed value is scaled considering the new angular values.
0% = CLOSING position
100% = OPENING position
INTERNAL TEMPERATURE - “Inside temp °C”
Inside the actuator, on the management electronic board, there is a probe that senses the temperature reached inside the actuator and lets the system manage the heating resistance.
ELECTRIC MOTOR TEMPERATURE - “Motor temp °C”

ERROR = “Fault”
NONE = no operating anomaly detected

FAIL SAFE ACTION NUMBER - “Fail safe n°”
In actuators equipped with FAIL SAFE system (optional), it indicates the number of power supply failures during which the system stepped in and supplied the energy stored in the supercapacitors.
WORKING TIME - “Working time”
It indicates the actuator operating time (rotating electric motor), given in tens of minutes.
FAIL SAFE CHARGE INDICATOR - “Test Voltage %”
In the actuators equipped with FAIL SAFE system (optional), it shows the supercapacitors % of charge. The maximum charge is 94%.
The following table shows the minimum charge value, depending on the model, which ensures a complete emergency manoeuvre.
SOFTWARE VERSION – “Fw Ver”
It shows the software version of the actuator management board.
CAUTION:
INTERNAL TEMPERATURES BELOW -10°C OR ABOVE 50°C CAN JEOPARDIZE THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE ACTUATOR.
