Battery 

The backup battery has an expected life of 5 years in ideal conditions. If the COM5 PT1 stays 
on for less than 20 minutes during a power failure, then the battery may need replacing. 

The backup battery for the UPS is mounted inside the electronics chassis. 

 

CAUTION

 

Always take precautions with the exposed battery terminals to avoid arcs and short circuits. 
This can damage sensitive components or cause fire or explosion.
