Installation – Blades
1
Apply the Provided Lubricant
□
Apply the provided lubricant in 4 spots on the top and
bottom of each strut. Each line of lubricant should be in
the groove, approximately 1”-1.5” long and spaced as
indicated in the picture.
(THE LUBRICANT SHOULD REACH THE TOP OF
THE GROOVE. NOTE THAT IT IS NORMAL TO USE
APPROXIMATELY HALF OF THE TUBE PER 5 STRUTS;
YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THE WHOLE TUBE.)
2
Slide the Blades onto the Blade Struts
□
Slide the blades onto the blade struts and align the holes in
the blade and the blade struts.
3
Install the Safety Retainer Links
□
Once all of the blades are in place, install the safety
retainer links and blade bolts, nuts and washers in a
clockwise or counterclockwise manner, overlapping each
safety retainer link with the previous safety retainer link.
Torque the blade bolts to 23 ft-lbs using a 1/2” combination
wrench and socket.
