2.2. CLEANING (Fig. 8)
2.2. a General
Strict observance of the maintenance rules in this
section guarantees good preservation and satisfac-
tory operation of the machine and greatly reduces the
need for repairs.
ATTENTION
I
n case of irregularities or malfunctioning of any com-
ponent of the machine, FIRST OF ALL CHECK that
the instructions in the previous paragraphs have been
followed. Interventions must be carried out promptly at
the onset of failures to avoid worsening of the problem
and damaging further parts.

aily operations to be carried out at the end of work,
with the machine

, the main switch disconnected,
the water supply valve closed and the wash tank empty

. Clean the inside of the machine thoroughly.

Remove the basket filter (13) by turning it
anti-
clockwise
and lift it to perform cleaning;
3.
Extract the stainless steel tank plate filter (14) from
the bottom of the machine and lift it to perform
cleaning;

Lift the fine filter (15) and the filter (16) for cleaning

. Wash the filters in running water and refit them
correctly in their seats, turning them the opposite
direction.
2.3. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (Fig. 8)
Preventive maintenance operations to be carried out
with the machine
OFF
, the main switch disconnected,
the water supply valve closed and the wash tank emp-
ty.
2.3.a Checking and cleaning the spray arms and
nozzles (Fig. 8)
Periodically check to make sure that the wash arms
(17), the rinse arms (19) and the relative nozzles are
not clogged.
Cleaning the unit:
1. Unscrew the ring nut (21/22) and lift the spray arms
(17/19).
2. Wash the washing and rinsing arms.
Clean the nozzles (18/20) if they are clogged and then
fit the parts exactly back in their original positions.
3. Remount all parts by complying with the above instruc-
tions in reverse.
ATTENTION
R
egularly check and clean the spray arms, removing
them from the columns and removing any debris and
encrustations. The frequency of this operation depends
on the amount of residue or on unsatisfactory washing
results. To wash the outside of the machine, do not use
corrosive products such as sodium hypochlorite (bleach)
or hydrochloric acid (muriatic acid) with steel sponges
or brushes.
