shoulder belt webbing cannot be pinched
with fingers to fold webbing

- Check that harness straps are
snug on shoulders and thighs.
- A snug strap should not allow any
slack. It lies in a relatively straight
line without sagging. It does not
press on the child’s flesh or push
the child’s body into an unnatural
position.
NOTE:
If harness cannot be
snugly adjusted as described
above, do not use this
car seat.
Close chest clip and position chest clip
at arm pit level
