2.4 EREQUIPMENT CONSTITUTION
This optical repeater consists of MU and RU that consists of the modules described below:
The MU consists of:
Identifier Functional Description
Power Spliter
Supports RF Module, splits DL signal and
combines UL Signal.
Optical TX/RX Module
Completes optical signal and RF signal
conversion.
Main Control Unit (MCU)
Is used to control and monitor the operation
parameters of the MU and provides
telecommunication interface for local monitoring.
Distribution Board
Connects with modules and MCU; local
commissioning via RS232.
Power Supply Unit (PSU)
Converts the input voltage into stable DC to
supply power for other modules and to charge
the internal Li-ion battery.
Li-ion Battery Will supply power to MCU after power failure.

parameters of the RU and provides
telecommunication interface for local monitoring.
Li-ion Battery Will supply power to MCU after power failure.
