9.3 Machine does not clean properly
1. Check the condition of the brush and replace if necessary. The brush must be replaced when bristles are about 15 mm high.
Refer to "REMOVING THE BRUSH" and "INSTALLING THE BRUSH" to replace it. Using a brush that is worn out may damage
the floor.
2. Use another type of brush rather than the standard brush. To clean floors with exceptionally tough dirt, we recommend using
special brushes which can be supplied on request to suit your specific needs.
9.4 Too much foam generated
Check that a low-foam detergent has been used. If necessary add a small quantity of anti-foam liquid to the recovery tank.
Remember that more foam is generated when the floor to be cleaned is not very dirty. In this case use a less concentrated
detergent solution.
9.5 Suctiojn unit does not work
1. Check that motor signal lamp is on. If it is not, reset the fuse (Fig. 15B)
2. Check that the battery is connected properly.
3. Reset the relevant fuse (Fig. 15C)
4. If the problem persists, contact the dealer or service centre.
9.6 Brush motor does not work
1. Check that motor signal lamp is on. If it is not, reset the fuse (Fig. 15A)
2. Check that the battery is connected properly.
3. Reset the relevant fuse (Fig. 15A)
4. If the problem persists, contact the dealer or service centre.
9.7 Machine does not start
1. Check to ensure the battery is connected properly.
2. Check to ensure the battery is charged
3. Check to see if the 5A fuse has been triggered (Fig. 15B)
4. If the problem persists, contact the dealer or service centre.
9.8 Electrical protection
The machine is protected by the following electrical fuses:
1. Low-current fuses installed externally to protect (Fig. 15A & 15B):
BATTERY VERSION
–
the brush motor (30A)
–
the electrical controls (5A)
–
the suction motor (30A)
CABLE VERSION
–
brush motor (3A)
–
vacuum motor and electrical controls (8A)
9.9 The brush motor is working but the brush does not turn round
1. The belt may be wet. Check for any leakage and if not wait for the belt to dry.
2. The belt may be worn or broken. Replace it if necessary.
