Weekly maintenance
8.1 Replacing the rear floor-wiper rubber
Proceed as follows to change the drying edge of the rear floor-wiper rubber if it is worn and does not dry properly:
1. Remove the black plastic suction hose from the floor-wiper.
2. Unscrew the lock handwheels and remove the floor-wiper.
3. Unscrew the handwheels and remove the rear blade hook.
4. Turn the rubber over or replace it as necessary, making sure it is correctly aligned to the floor.
5. Reassemble by performing the procedure in reverse order
If the vertical alignment of the rubber is not correct the machine will not dry the floor properly.
8.2 Replacing The Front Floor-Wiper Rubber
If the front floor-wiper rubber is worn the suction is poor and the machine will not dry properly. Proceed as follows to replace it:
1. Remove the black plastic suction hose from the floor-wiper.
2. Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the floor-wiper.
3. Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the front blade hook. (Fig. 10A)
4. Turn the rubber over or replace it, as necessary, making sure it is correctly aligned to the floor.
5. Reassemble by performing the procedure in reverse order
If the vertical alignment of the rubber is not correct the machine will not dry the floor properly.
8.3 Cleaning the suction hose
If the suction is insufficient, check that the suction pipe is not clogged. Clean as necessary using a jet of water, spraying from the
part where it is inserted into the tank. To do this proceed as follows:
1. Detach the suction pipe from the seat on the recovery tank
2. Clean it with a jet of water, spraying from the part where it is inserted into the tank
3. Reassemble everything by repeating the procedure in reverse order
Wear gloves when doing this to protect yourself from any contact with hazardous materials and solutions and
make sure there are no obstacles or people near the machine.
8.4 Cleaning the recovery tank
1. Unscrewing the drainage plug a few turns and then pulling out the plug.
2. Rinse out the tank and clean the opening
3. Screw the drainage plug back in.
Wear gloves when doing this to protect yourself from any contact with hazardous materials and solutions and
make sure there are no obstacles or people near the machine.
9
Problem solving
9.1 Insufficient water to the brushes
1. Check that the flow regulation valve is sufficiently open (Fig. 9B)
2. Check that there is water in the solution tank
3. Clean the electro valve (Fig. 9A) by unscrewing the magnet and replacing it after cleaning (Fig. 14).
9.2 Floor-wiper does not dry properly
1. Check that the floor-wiper is clean
2. Check that the suction motor is correctly positioned
3. Clean the entire suction unit (see "WEEKLY MAINTENANCE")
4. Replace worn rubbers.
5. Check the correct alignment of the rubbers
6. Clean or replace the floor-wiper wheels
