Tools Required.
To work on the SmartLF scanners, certain tools will be required. See list below. The
acquisition of these tools is strongly recommended.
1. Medium sized Pozi-drive screwdriver
2. 5.5mm Nut Spinner.
3. 7mm Nut-spinner.
4. 1mm Allen Key
5. 2.5mm Allen Key
6. Cleaning fluid
7. Lint free wipes
Services CD's are available from the Colortrac support department. Please send an e-mail to
the support address (see below) giving company name and address to send disk to. These
CD’s are ONLY available for approved engineers and will NOT be issued to end-users

How to contact Technical Support
Although Colortrac technical support group will do their best to help any service engineer in
difficulties in the field, we accept no responsibility if a non-approved distributor/engineer
damages any part of the scanner during a field visit. Or if an end user removes any panels
under instruction from a distributors engineer or on his own accord.
When contacting support with a support issue, please include the following with initial e-mail:

Scanner .dat file created as described in ‘SmartLF CxUtils’ program, this is important as it
contains ALL the information the support department needs to analyse the problem
