Lift the glass completely from the CIS mounting bracket, and store

in a safe place to prevent damage.

If the glass is being replaced, fit

the new glass at this point, making sure the thickest black

screening is towards the front of the scanner.

4.

Repeat removal of scan glass all the way along CIS mounting

bracket, storing all carefully.

NOTE: Each piece of glass has a thin strip of white tape on the rear

edge. If the glass is very tight going into the location, this strip can be

removed for ease of fitting.
