19. Refit all the 9 x retaining screws that hold the CIS mounting bracket
in place.
20. Clean each piece of glass with a soft cloth before replacing the
glass into the slot in the CIS mounting bracket. Make sure the
wider edge of the black screening is towards the front of the
scanner, so the CIS scan line is central in the clear area. Repeat
for all 5 pieces of glass.
21. Close the paper guide assembly right down, and run the manual
stitching software in the utilities program downloaded onto PC.
