Administrator Guide

Auxiliary Input Activated Scenario

In this example, the IP5000 has been configured to perform the following Script upon an Auxiliary 

Input Contact Closure:

1. 

Play a Message out of the speaker.

 

2. 

Trigger Aux Output #1 (strobe light).

 

3. 

Place a Call to “Security”

 

A. 

Upon connecting, activate Aux Output #2 until remotely released by the 

 

 

Called Party (Security).

B. 

Release for Aux Output #2 is accomplished by the Called party’s phone 

 

 

keypad – Key #5.

 

4.  Called Party disconnects. 

Disable Aux Output #1 (strobe light) 20 seconds after the Called Party hangs up.
