Safety
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Always use a residual current device (RCD or RCCB) which
trips at < 30 mA between the pump and the power supply.
• Always inspect the pump before using it, especially the power
lead and plug. Never use the pump if it is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Make sure that any electrical connections (extension lead,
RCD, etc.) are placed in a dry place and protected from
overflowing water and floods.
• Keep the mains lead away from extreme heat, oil and sharp edges.
• The pump is not designed for continuous use.
• Protect the pump from frost.
