4. The screen will automatically turn on when connected and display the charging
icon as shown.
Note: This screen indicates that the battery is charging. The mobile phone is not switched on.

TURNING ON/OFF
To turn on the phone, hold down the
button for 3 seconds until the screen
turns on and the welcome sound plays.
To turn off the phone, hold down the
button for 3 seconds until the screen
powers off.
6.
SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
When you turn on your phone for the first time, you will be prompted to set the time
and date.
1. Enter the year, month and day using the numerical keypad.
Date format is YYYY/MM/DD.
2. Once you have entered the date, press the left side button to enter your selection
3. Enter the time using the numerical keypad. Time format is HH:MM AM/PM.
4. Use the Up and Down button to switch between AM and PM.
5. Once you have entered the time, press the
left side button to enter your selection
and complete the setup process.
Tip: By default the phone is set to 12hr time. You can alter this later in the settings menu. See
page 22 for details.
Note: The time and date will be reset every time the battery is removed or the battery runs
completely flat. You will be prompted for the date and time when turning on each time a reset
has occurred.
