Measure the free length of the valve Springs. If out of the

standard or service limit. Please replace the spring.

Inspect

：

Inspect the valve guide for smooth, scratch and damaged in the inner surface, and

matching between the valve guide and cylinder cover for

fastness.

Using the valve guide reamer, ream the valve guides to

remove any carbon deposits before measuring.

If the valve guide inside diameter is lower than standard

or out of the service limit, replace the guide.

Chill the replacement valve guides in the freezer section of a refrigerator for about an

hour.

Drive the valve guide out of the combustion chamber side using valve guide driver.
