Warning!
This manual contains instructions on Receipt, Handling, Storage, Installation,
Placement, Initial Activation and Operation of the Perfection Premium Series
Voltage Regulator. Read this manual carefully before performing the installation
procedures, which should be carried out by trained personnel.
Whenever needed, we recommend that this manual be available near the
equipment, in an accessible place, in order to be consulted prior to operating the
voltage regulator.
Security Regulations
This equipment should not be used if not connected to the local grounding
system.
The first connection to be made is the Ground Wire, coming from the Ground
Rod or its respective derivation from the switchboard to the equipment
terminal identified as GROUND.
In some versions of the equipment, the neutral input connection point as well
as the output, is connected internally, being a common point.
All maintenance operation inside the voltage regulator must be carried out
solely by trained personnel. There are internal points that even after turned
off may maintain stored voltages that can cause accidents.
Should you need to replace fuses, they must be of the same value as the
original. Failure in following these procedures may cause irrecoverable
damage to the voltage regulator and to your facilities.
