3. DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE

Your humidifier is not designed to accept water passed through a softener that uses salt. The humidifier
decalcification cartridge cannot absorb salt which results in the formation of a white precipitate inside the
unit. If a white precipitate forms, the decalcification capacity of the cartridge has been reached. This
phenomenon can occur sooner or later depending on the hardness of the water. In this case, replace the
decalcification cartridge.

We recommend that you do not use the appliance if the water hardness is more than 25 ° fH.

Soak the calcification cartridge in a water bath 1 hour before first use; the pellets must absorb water to
achieve their performance.
