Using the Newborn Support System

This car seat ships with the Newborn Support System

installed. The Newborn Support System is comprised of

a Support Cushion and a Headrest.

Proper Use of the Newborn Support System:

• Both the Support Cushion and Headrest MUST be used

with infants weighing less than 11 lb (5 kg) and when top

of shoulders are below lowest Shoulder Harness Slots.

• The Support Cushion can be used (optional) with children

weighing 11 lb (5kg) or more and until the child’s shoulders

reach the top Shoulder Harness Slot. NEVER use the Support

Cushion when the child’s shoulders are at or above the top

Shoulder Harness Slot with the Support Cushion installed.

• The Support Headrest can be used (optional) until the child

outgrows the car seat.
