Gel Running

Fit the lid and connect to a power supply.

Gels should be run at constant voltage, with voltage dependent on
the size of the proteins undergoing separation. An initial setting of 100V
with constant observation of migration and heat production is
recommended. An exploratory study may be required to determine
the optimal settings for individual proteins.
Suggested Voltages and Resultant Current
for 1mm thick, 12% gels.
