Not suitable for ironing
We recommend that you sort the garments on the basis of the temperature they
need to be ironed at and that you start with the items which require the lowest
temperature. Otherwise, wait a few minutes when you adjust the device from a
high temperature to a lower level before you continue ironing.
2. Place the device to heat up in the storage station or upright on a stable,
fl
at and heat-
resistant surface.
3. Plug the mains plug of the device into a properly installed
mains socket that is easily accessible. All symbols appear
on the display for a short time.
4. Press the on / off button (
5
). The operating lamps (
13
)
light up and the device begins to heat up to the lowest
temperature setting
SAMT
(velvet).
5. You can now press the button
(
6
)
to select another tem-
perature setting. A bar
(
a
) on the display indicates the
chosen setting.
6. During the temperature adjustment (temperature increase
or reduction), the symbol
(
b
)
fl
ashes on the display.
When the set temperature has been reached, a beep is
heard and the symbol is lit up permanently.
The
symbol
(
c
) on the display indicates that no water or too little water is present in
the water reservoir
(
15
).
Dry-Ironing
The water reservoir does not need to be
fi
lled for dry-ironing.
1. Move the steam quantity control (
2
) to position
and follow the instructions in the
"Temperature Setting" section.
2. Wait until the device has heated up and the symbol is lit up permanently on the
display. The device is then ready for use and you can start ironing.
