• Eco
button
(

): Most of the energy supplied is needed to generate the steam.
When you use the iron and press the Eco button as you do so, steam is produced. If
you put the iron down and let go of the handle, no unnecessary steam is produced
and thus energy is saved.
• The
anti-drip system
prevents water from dripping out of the bottom of the iron at
low temperatures.
NOTE:
The anti-drip system may cause a clicking noise during
the heating-up or cooling-down process. This is normal and does not indicate a
defect.
• Thanks to the
ceramic coating on the bottom of the iron
(
18
) the device slides ef-
fortlessly over the fabric during ironing.
• The
anti-limescale system
of the device removes the lime from the water if you use
tap water instead of distilled water for steam-ironing. However, please note that it is
not possible to prevent the formation of limescale entirely.
• The
self-cleaning function
(
SELF CLEAN
button (
1
)) allows you to remove lime-
scale residues from the device, see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
