Problem Possible cause / solution
The performance
is weak.
• Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close the ex­
haust air valve.
• Is the dust container too full? Empty the dust container.
• Are the filters or the device dirty? Clean the dust container, the
cyclone insert, the motor filters and the HEPA exhaust air filter.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction hose
clogged? Switch off the device, pull the mains plug out of the
plug socket and remove the blockage.
Dust escapes from
the device during
cleaning.
• Is the dust container not closed correctly and / or not (correct­
ly) inserted into the device? Close the lid or correct the fit of
the dust container.
• Are the filters or the device dirty? Clean the dust container, the
cyclone insert, the motor filters and the HEPA exhaust air filter.
The mains cable
cannot be wound
up fully.
• The mains cable was not correctly wound up in the device.
Pull the mains cable out a little and press the button for
winding up the cable.
During vacuum
cleaning, an
unpleasant smell
is detected.
• Is the device being used for the first time? A smell often devel ­
ops when new devices are first used. The smell should disap ­
pear once the device has been used several times.
