Operation
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Only switch on the vacuum cleaner once all parts have been completely mounted and
all filters have been inserted correctly.
■
Note the
MAX
marking on the dust container. If during use the marking is reached,
empty the dust container. The filters must also be regularly cleaned in order to pre
vent overloading of the motor.
■
To ensure that the mains cable does not become hot during operation, pull out at least
two thirds of its total length from the device before the vacuum cleaner is switched on.
Do not pull out the mains cable with force up to its maximum length (not further than
the red marking on the mains cable) in order to prevent damage!
1. Attach the nozzle you want to the telescopic tube or suction hose (see the “Assembly”
chapter – “Attaching / Removing Nozzles”).
2. Pull the mains connecting cable out of the housing, ideally up to the yellow marking,
but not further than the red marking on the mains connecting cable!
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily accessible.
4. Press the
On / Off switch to switch on the vacuum cleaner.
5. Guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned. The vacuum cleaner can be pulled
along like a sledge during cleaning.
Tip:
The handle is equipped with an exhaust air valve.
Open the exhaust air valve (by sliding the cover) to re
duce the suction force when cleaning upholstery, rugs or
light, movable objects.
Normally the exhaust air valve should be closed to pre
vent the unnecessary reduction of the suction force.
6. After vacuuming, press the
On / Off switch to switch off the device.
7. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket, hold the mains connecting cable securely
and press the button for winding up the cable with your foot. Holding the mains
connecting cable prevents any "whiplash" effect of the cable, e.g. against your legs.
8. To ensure optimum performance of the device, empty the dust container after every
use.
Cleaning and Care
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Empty the dust container when it is full up to the
MAX
marking, and regularly clean
the cyclone insert, the motor filters and the HEPA exhaust air filter to prevent the
motor from overheating.
■
Do not clean the filters with water!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the de
vice. These could damage the surfaces.
