Operation
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Ensure that there are no larger and / or sharp objects on the surface which is to be
cleaned.
■
Note the
MAX
marking on the dust container. If during use the marking is reached,
empty the dust container. Empty and clean the dust container after each use. The
motor
fi
lters must also be regularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the
motor.
■
Switch the device off after each surface has been cleaned as this will considerably
increase the operating time on each battery charge. Charge up the battery after use
(see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
1. Select an accessory as required (see the “Device Overview” and “Accessories”
chapters) and attach it to the device (see the “Assembly” chapter).
2. Press the On / Off switch (

) to switch on the device. The device will start vacuuming
immediately.
3. Move the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned.
4. After vacuuming, switch off the device by pressing the On / Off switch.
5. Empty and clean the dust container (

) (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Do not immerse the motor
fi
lter in water or rinse it under running water to prevent
damage to the motor
fi
lter. They cannot be washed by machine, put in the dishwasher
or tumble dried.
■
Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are in-
serted back into the device!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the housing. They could
damage the surfaces.
The motor
fi
lters may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and
does not have any adverse effect on function.
Emptying the Dust Container
1. Remove the dust container (

) from the motor unit (

) (see the “Assembly” chapter
– “Removing / Inserting the Dust Container”).
2. Hold the dust container over a dustbin
3. Pull the catch of the bottom
fl
ap (

) away from the dust
container slightly. The bottom
fl
ap will open and the dirt
will fall out.
4. To close it, press the bottom
fl
ap onto the dust container.
The catch must be heard to engage in place.
5. Insert the dust container into the motor unit (see the
“Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
