Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check if you can fi x the problem yourself fi rst. If
these steps do not solve the problem, contact customer service.
Do not try to repair an electrical device yourself!

The device works slowly

The dust collector is too

Empty the dust collector.
The fi lters are dirty.
Clean the fi lters.

Switch the device off and
remove the clog.
Parts that are too big or
too heavy can snag on the
carpet.
Remove these objects by
hand.
Dust escapes from the
device when vacuuming.
Dust collector or fi lter not
fi tted correctly.
Correct the position of the
dust collector and fi lters.
Make sure that the dust
collector is closed.
The fi lters are dirty.
Clean the fi lters.
The fi lters are worn out or
damaged.
Replace the fi lters.
The operating light does
not illuminate when the
device is connected to the
mains.
The power adapter does
not plug into the wall outlet
correctly or the coaxial
power connector does
not plug correctly into the
connection socket on the
device.
Correct the fi t.
The socket is defective.
Try another socket.
There is no mains voltage.
Check the fuse of the
mains connection.
Strange odour
The device is used for the
fi rst time.
A new odour is normal
when the device is used
for the fi rst time, and will
go away over time.
