5.1.3 AC/DC voltage measurement in mV
1. Connect the black test lead
to
and the red test
lead to

2. Set the function selector to
for voltage measure-
ment in mV.
3. The meter is set by default
to
Autorange
(automatic
range setup). If you wish to
change the range manually,
press [ Range ] several times.
4. The meter is preset to
measure DC, change to AC
using the blue button (10).
5. Connect the test leads
across the source or load to
be measured.
6. The true RMS value will be
displayed.
7. Press [ Hz % ] to obtain
the frequency and Duty
Cycle value.
Note:
In each range, the meter has an input impedance of 10 MΩ except the mV range
which has an input impedance of 3000 MΩ. This can cause measurement errors
in high impedance circuits. If the circuit impedance is less than or equal to 10 kΩ,
the error is negligible (0.1 % or less).
