Adjustments and operations

Cutting depth adjustment

The cutting depth is adjusted by the following points:

1) Disc gangs opening

Increase the opening (A) between the gangs to work over soils that are harder to

penetrate with the disc blades. In light and loose soils, it is appropriate to work with a

smaller opening angle.

To open or close the equipment, the operator must activate the hydraulic cylinder

control valve.

Note that the disk harrow opening just change the cutting angle of the rear gang.

Increasing "A": bigger disc blades penetration.
Decreasing "A": smaller disc blades penetration.

NOTE Use the rod stops (B) to limit the opening of the disk harrow, thus keeping

the same depth adjustment on the disc gangs.
