Assembly

Disk harrow opening system assembly

To assemble the cylinder on the disk harrow, proceed as follows:
• Couple the front (A) and rear (B) stabilizer bars to their respective frames using

junction axles (C), flat washers, castle nut and cotter pins. Join the front bar to the rear one

using another junction axle (C), washer, castle nut and cotter pin.

• Couple the hydraulic cylinder (D) to the front frame (E) using a pin (F), flat washer

and cotter pin. Couple the cylinder rod to the bar (A) using a bolt (G), spring washer and

nut.

• Assemble the hoses support (H) to the drawbar using a spring washer and nut.
• Assemble the cylinder (D) hoses and pass them through the support. Check if the

terminals are cleaned and avoid that them touch the soil.

• The cylinder terminals must remain facing up.
• Always use thread sealing tape to couple the male quick couplers (I) to the hoses.
• The cylinders have rod stops (J), which are placed on their rods and work as course

limiters, thus providing several cutting depth adjustments for the disc blades.
