This chapter describes the steps for performing less-critical and/or optional
Portico TVA configuration.
HTTPS - Web MI
Portico TVA supports secure HTTP for the Web MI. A self signed certificate is
created automatically on first boot. At each subsequent boot, Portico TVA
checks the FLASH file system for the default certificate. If no certificate is
found, a new certificate is generated automatically. The default certificate is
self- signed and identifies the server by the current IP address.
The ability to create and sign certificates is available on the Web MI.
Configuring HTTPS
From the Web MI home page, select
Maintenance
and then scroll down to
the
HTTPS Certificates
option (

).

Create/Update a Self-Signed Certificate
Use this webpage to enable secure HTTP and create a new certificate. If you
change any of the values on this web page (except Common Name) then a
new certificate is created. The values displayed on this page are taken from
the current certificate and the serial number is increased by one.
