Dialing Rule
An FXO port can be accessed with a dialing prefix.
Note that this is the only non-SIP method available for phones with no
free programmable buttons (e.g., analog phones).
1.
Configure a dialling rule (
See “Setting Up Dialing Rules” on page 31
).
2.
Set the match term to e.g.
(9)
3.
Set the translation rule to e.g.
fxo:<optional digits>
The translated string may also contain digits, which are automatically
dialled when the FXO port is selected. By this means, a simple prefix
can be mapped to a specified phone number.
You may want to block FXO for some ports. Add those ports to the
excluded ports
to ensure that they cannot access the FXO ports by
dialling the specified prefix.

SIP Softswitch
The FXO ports can be configured to register with a Softswitch.
SIP calls directed at the FXO ports will be answered and presented with
PSTN dial tone.
Calls incoming from the PSTN will be routed to a specified AoR via the
Softswitch.
Configure the FXO port registrations by clicking on the “PSTN Access”
link on the Administrator Portal - the SIP Status of the FXOs can then
be viewed.
Now select the relevant FXO port.
