Connecting to a Network

Note

The synchronous serial port supports the following signaling standards:

EIA/TIA-232, EIA/TIA-449, V.35, X.21, and EIA-530.

Step 2

Connect the ISDN BRI port (RJ-45) to an NT1 device. (See Figure 10.)

Step 3

After you have installed the router card, connect the power cable to the switch and the
power source and then power it ON. (If the switch does not power ON, refer to the
appropriate manual for the switch.)
