Configuring Cisco Multimode G.SHDSL EFM/ATM in Cisco ISR G2

shdsl 4-wire mode

To enable the symmetric high bit rate digital subscriber line (SHDSL) to use the enhanced mode in a
2-pair digital subscriber line (DSL) group, use the

shdsl 4-wire mode enhanced

command in the

configuration controller DSL group mode. To disable the shdsl 4-wire mode, use the

form of this

command.

shdsl 4-wire mode

enhanced

no shdsl 4-wire mode

enhanced

Syntax Description

Command Default

By default, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) supports the standard mode in the context of ATM
4-wire.

This configuration is applicable only on the CPE and the ATM 4-wire mode.
