Chapter 3 Configuring the Server
Setting up Local Users
Adding a User
You can add further users into CiscoWorks as required. To add a user:
Step 1
In the CiscoWorks Homepage, select Common Services > Server > Security >
Local User Setup.
The Local User Setup page appears.
Step 2
Click Add.
The User Information dialog box appears.
Step 3
Enter the username in the Username field.
Step 4
Enter the password in the Password field.
Step 5
Re-enter the password in the Verify field.
Step 6
Enter the e-mail ID in the E-mail field.
Step 7
In the Roles pane, select the check box corresponding to the role to specify the
roles to be assigned to the user.
The following roles are available:
•
Help Desk (available by default)
•
Approver
•
Network Operator
•
Network Administrator
•
System Administrator
•
