Installing the Power Supply Fan Tray

For the following procedure, it is assumed that you have already removed a defective power 
supply fan tray and that you intend to replace it with a new one.

To install the new power supply fan tray, perform the following steps.

Step 1

Using one hand, grasp the power supply fan tray from above (as shown in 
Figure 7-13). 

Step 2

Position the assembly in front of the guide rails in the fan tray bay.

Step 3

Carefully insert the fan tray into the guide rails in the bay (see Figure 7-13).
