The eSIGNO Mobile in HHI mode allows the
operator to communicate with the electronic
devices inside the system (locks, wall readers and
E-cylinders).
The
connection
with an eSIGNO
lock or wall reader
can be obtained
providing
the
eSIGNO Mobile in
HHI mode with the
eSIGNO Mouse.
Thanks to this connection it is possible:
•
to download firmware to the device;
•
to initialize and synchronize the device;
•
to manage the device’s memory (history
events, lock info, settings);
•
to set autoprograms on the device;
•
to change the device’s parameters.
Alternatively, communication between eSIGNO
Mobile and eSIGNO locks or wall readers can be
achieved by using Service Cards (see paragraph
below).

To communicate with an eSIGNO device (lock or wall reader), connect the eSIGNO mouse to the
proper slot on the eSIGNO Mobile.
It is possible to understand if the eSIGNO mouse is correctly connected directly from the eSIGNO
Mobile’s screen:
The eSIGNO mouse is not connected to the eSIGNO Mobile.
The eSIGNO mouse is correctly connected to the eSIGNO Mobile
(see [….] on the first line).
To obtain the actual communication between the eSIGNO device (lock or wall reader) and the HHI,
the eSIGNO mouse has to be hung on the device.
The connection between eSIGNO device and HHI is on
(see [LINK] on the first line).
When communication has been established, the eSIGNO device remains turned on as long as the
eSIGNO mouse is maintained in front of its reader. From this moment on, it is possible to use the
dedicated short cut keys on the eSIGNO Mobile to perform several operations.
Note Note Note Note: upon connection, if the eSIGNO Mobile detects that the device
has no compatible eSIGNO firmware, this message shows on its
display (see [BOOT] on the first line).
