The battery status control can be done using any valid staff card. In case of low battery status, the LED
light signal gives 3 red + green blinks before the opening of the cylinder.
Note:

Note:
Note: in case of unusable batteries (if they have not been changed since the signals above), after a
few openings the cylinder stops reacting to valid cards. To re-activate it, it is necessary to change the
batteries by using the external power supply adapter.

Steps to change batteries:
1.
Present a Change Battery Service card (issued in HHI mode).
2.
The two pins blocking the cylinder head carter are now retractable. With the proper tool, take the
carter off the cylinder head.
3.
Change batteries (2x lithium 3V CR-2 type); if polarity is correct, the cylinder will beep.
4.
Push the two pins and insert the head carter, checking that the pins are in the correct position.
5.
Present a Change Battery Service card again. The two pins are now solid.
6.
Present a Synchro Service card to synchronize the E-Cylinder once again.

In case the batteries are completely unusable, it is necessary to use the external power supply adapter
in order to recuperate the cylinder functionality. To achieve that, insert the adapter, checking that its
power supply pins are positioned coherently with the knob’s external power supply pins. If necessary,
slowly rotate the adapter in order to obtain the pins alignment; if the position is correct and the
batteries are depleted, the cylinder beeps once.
