The device is configured with the 

CirCAMP-xxP 

concentrator via PLC communications.

Certain parameters can be configured via DLMS. (See 

“7.- COMMUNICATIONS”

)

7.1.-

 

OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS PORT

In all versions, the device has a serial optical communications port, in compliance with the UNE 

EN 62056-21:2003 Standard.

The communications port is fully compatible with the optical heads approved by major utility 

companies.

There is a profile for the correct fastening and location of the optical heads on the surface of 

the cover.

CirCAMP-xxP

 uses the DLMS communications protocol, see 

7.4.- DLMS PROTOCOL

PLC COMMUNICATIONS

The device is equipped with a communications system that communicates via the electrical 

network, using PLC technology that allows the energy meters to be connected to the network 

with no need for additional cabling.

PLC (Power Line Communications) transfers data via the electrical network using advanced 

modulation technology.

The PLC frequency bands are defined by different committees: FCC for North America and 

Canada, ARIB for Asia and Japan and CENELEC for Europe.

CirCAMP-xxP

 uses the DLMS communications protocol, see
